EXPANSION ADDS JOBS: Samsung at Doral Costa Office Park, 9850 NW 41st St., has extended and expanded its lease from 10,400 square feet to 11,600. The multinational conglomerate will expand staff at the location from about 60 people to around 80, said Mort Fetterolf, senior commercial associate of Colliers International South Florida, who represented Samsung in the transaction.
THE Cebu City Office of the Building Official (OBO) admitted that some buildings in the city are vulnerable to strong earthquakes. Acting Building Official Josefa Ylanan pointed out that even in Japan, where advance technology is used in construction projects, some buildings are still not stable enough to withstand strong earthquakes.
