Little Horn State Bank is about to get smaller, in terms of locations, not assets. Instead of running two branches, one in Lockwood off Johnson Lane and the main office at 2209 Central Ave., the bank is consolidating.
The bank has so far identified three office buildings it will sell, in N.Y. and N.C. It also has substantial real estate holdings in Southern California. In a move to shed nonessential assets, Bank of America will sell and lease back some of its administrative office space.
The Pratt City Commission is expected to approve an annexation agreement in two weeks that will pave the way for local businessman Dale Withers to develop an industrial park opposite Walmart on U.S. 54.
